Anybody here make EDM music? (Trance, house, etc.)

Just wondering. How do you guys do it? Like what programs do you use? I want to get into making trance music myself. I made a few tracks before on Soundtrack Pro just to see what I can do and I have to say I didn't do too bad. I just need to make it not sound too repetitive. I still have lots to learn where composing music is concerned.

Anyways, throw in your .02 or post up your music!

I've used Fruity Loops, Audacity, and Acid Pro.

By far Acid Pro is my favorite for messing with loops. Although Fruity Loops has some cool loops on it.

I also was mixing these with tracks created using my Korg MicroSynth.

I'm sure there are better programs out there though.

My cousin is interested in this. He officially put together opnoe song with a friend but has been tinkering with it for sometime now. He's a gifted pianist and has just started classes at SAE here in socal to pursue a career in music production. I'll ask what program he uses next time I see him, but I do know it's a Mac application.

I experiment alot, but mostly make chip tune music for my cousins crack's, and ware programs.

Any fans of Das ich, Agonoize, Clan of Xymox, or Babyland?

EDIT:My buddy KAMO (he doesn't use his account on here anymore since he is expecting ) but he used to make a metric ton of electronic music in his hay day.. Okay, so my cousin said he uses Garage Band now, but had used something else when he had put together a song. I'm not sure what program that was. We'll see what he ends up learing to use in his school...

I think it was probably Soundtrack Pro.

Of all the music-making programs I've used, I have to say that SP was the easiest to use. It's very straightforward. It had a huge library of clips to choose from. Everything was click and drag.
