Hey all,

I just copped a complete set of 5 spokes from a 2nd Gen RX7 for $40. Came with good tires and everything!

I've always known these wheels to share the same lug pattern as most Nissans (in this case 5x114.3), but i wanted to know if any of you had experience with wheel fitment on the wheel studs and calipers. Were there any issues??

i got em because it was the next closest things to R32s. and i couldnt resist the deal!

I had to bore the center hole larger to fit the bigger hub register on the Nissan 240sx hubs.otherwise they fit fine.they are nice wheels, you got them for a great price.

you can have a shop bore them out for cheap and if you arent super anal just have them go large enough to clear it and dont worry about it being hubcentric... they may charge even more to keep it on center to a close tolerance and a specific dimension tolerance on the bore diameter.

Someone posted about FC BBS meshies in the meshie thread. I looked up the specs and from what I found, they had pretty high offsets. I'm assuming the 5 spokes do too...

im not sure about FC wheels, though FD wheels are 16x8 +50 and if the FC's are anywhere near that youll need like a 1 inch spacer to make it work

all you need to do is have the center hole bored out a little to clear the bigger nissan hub....they fit fine. My friend runs them on his S13 hatch with Q45 brakes.

yeah the FC and 240sx have very similar offsets but the FC has a smaller hole in the center of the wheels.

FD wheels have huge offsets and need spacer to work on FCs and 240s.

how much did he bore them over? i noticed there is a very slight taper on the end of the wheel, so it seems the wheels dont clear very well. ill probably bore out the center hole if i need to. otherwise, who wants these wheels? i already got my S14s, haha.

Marcus, your sig is too big buddy. That is one cool picture though except the face trying to look like it knows how to drift.

He actually looks constipated.

And for the record, Marcus looks very similar to Eagle Eye Cherry

they dont need to be bored out much, its under 10mm for sure.I think I took mine as large as the countersink was on the hole.probably 6mm larger?you can find the center bores online if you search, maybe look up hubcentric ring measurements for both cars as a cross reference?

if you end up using thick enough spacers that dont have hub rings on them then you dont have to bother with the boring at all.

well i guess i could save the rims as spares in the meantime. i kinda don't want to run spacers at the moment because i enjoy the flushness of the S14 wheels. haha maybe in the future i will.
