Audi e-tron ConceptProving that "green," or eco-friendly, doesn't have to be boring, Audi pulled the sheet off the e-tron Concept — a fully electric car based on the carmaker's mighty R8 — at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Four electric motors provide propulsion, putting out a combined 313 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 3,319 lb-ft of torque. While that figure might sound ludicrous, it's no joke; this thing delivers neck-snapping acceleration off the line.
Well, I don't know how to post pictures but you can find it on MSN.com

absolutely. but i'll keep waiting, and hope the one i have on fm3 holds me over.
EDIT: Those side mirrors are full of win, i can't make out if it's lcd screen, and camera or what. but it's pretty BA looking.

hmmm. i don't know about anyone else but i'd rather have a rear window than a camera that might experience electrical problems and die out. sometimes simple is better, imo.

amen.
it's tough on mid engine cars though....but then again, in most of them it doesn't matter what's behind you Except mail boxes and pedestrians in a parking lot...

^this is truth.
same goes for the side mirrors though, esp when trying to change lanes. r8's already have crappy visibility out the side anyways, why make it worse with the risk of electrical issues? and if i'm not mistaken, there's always at least a little bit of lag between a camera and a monitor
