Evie's 2000 I30t started acting up the other day. It felt like the engine would skip, then the transmission would slip, the "OD off" light would flash, then the "Service Engine Soon" light would illuminate.

It only did it 3 times. The rest of the time, the car drove fine.

I took it to the dealer, and they said it was the revolution sensor. The had to order one, and it is ready today.

Total cost is $353.16, which includes 2 days in a 2007 G35 and a complete wash and detail on my I30t.

Not a problem we hear about a lot on the forums, but it's not entirely uncommon with that transmission (4th and 5th gen Maxes/Is).

Not too bad a price for that with a loaner and wash...one of the perks of the Infiniti badge.

A little steep on price, but the loaner car makes up for it.
