Anybody have the Megan V1 short shifter?

Whats up everybody, i just put in this megan short shifter and it feels pretty good. My "throws" are a lot shorter. The only thing is, it has a ton of play... like 3/4 of an inch. im nuetral, just wanted to know if anybody else has it, and if yes,did it have any play? Is there anyway to tighten it up? Yes, i installed it correctly too... i have a feeling it has to do with the little plastic bushing at the bottom of the damn thing. i tried searching for this, but i couldnt find anything. I dont know how Noob of a question this is, so anything is apreciated, thanks.
