Uhm, I guess the answer is simple. You do. The eManage is a piggyback, and it alters the signals to the ECU so that it can change the perameters of the engine. So if you do not touch it at all then it will run on your stock engine. Then you tune it at the dyno when you get there.

The proper way is to tune on a dyno with a wideband O2 sensor.

However, I might try putting in some copper plugs and leaning your A/F by about 5% under full throttle. Carefully test it while listening for detonation.

Drive with passanger window part open, next to a wall if you can for good hearing.

Then if that's good, try pushing the timing about 5 degrees in the last 2 load ranges or WOT. Once again be carefull and listen carefully as above.

This is what I'd do. Just don't blame me if you blow your motor.

well i finally got everything hooked up (minus ignition control), this is all pre-trubo steps. 525cc injectors, fpr, etc. she ran rich like a mofo on the set-up that was on the e-manage, eventually we stopped messing with the e-manage after i had an intake backfire. i set up a tune to only compensate for the injector size, so basically stock, hope it works

So you have a stock tune. Try leaning it out about 5% under WOT.
