If your problem is that you can't find one, go to U-Haul, seriously. They have a trailer hitch for just about everything made.

the 240sx has plenty of power to pull a single jet ski. I remeber i asked about pulling a little fishing boat a couple months ago and people were talking about how a bunch of people put trailor hitches on their cars to pull little trailors for their tires.

i used to work for uhaul for 2 years...yes they do make a hitch for a 240sx...and on average once u get lights and installation(u have to have lights otherwise its illegal to tow anything) and the hitch it will run you about 200$, and it is a special order hitch so it will take about a week to get the hitch. so any more question u can call 1800gouhaul, and they will be able to patch u to the nearest dealer to you.

in the owner's manual for the 240sx, it says you can tow up 1000 pounds. perfect for a jetski...

I presently work for uhaul and he is exactly right. They do make it, its in the system, and if anyone wants i can go in and pull up a price quote for you..I'll try and do it tomorrow or something and i'll scan and post it.

We actually have gotten a lot of wierd little sportscars to put hitches on. Mostly s2000 and corvettes who wanna tow little trailers with a set of tires and a few tools to an autocross. One of the other kids who works there has a 944 and is gonna put a hitch on his. The nice thing about the the Uhaul hitches is that 99.99% of the time they don't touch the frame of the car they simply bolt in.

However, when (If) you call to make an apointment to do this, make sure the person you talk to on the phone asks you a big long list of question (make, model, year, body style, transmission, options) because the hitches do vary. We ran into this sunday because my idiot, alcoholic, illiterate, boss ordered the wrong hitch (chevy cargo van not chevy passanger van)

That would be great. Also if you have a general location or a pic. I'm assuming that it's the fixed hitch not the slide in type. I'm sure it's a class 1. Thanks in advance.

It's already got a truck engine Should it be less qualified than a Frontier?

My friend has one on his 240sx. He wants to get it off but hasn't bothered because he doesn't know what to do with it. You can reach him at underground57 if he's on. He just moved so not sure exactly when he'll be back on. He'd be more than happy to sell it.

We were throwing around the idea of painting it pink and saying we grabbed it off a wrecked yashio(sp) factory car and selling it on ebay or something. We figured somebody dumb would pay loads of money.

lol, just don't buy anything expensive from me. I am the kid that put a v-tec sticker onto his car at the autocross and latter that week we found a forum with a picture of it making fun of him. His car is in better shape than mine so I have to make fun of it.

ga demon, you have an e-mail or an aim name I could tell him to contact you at? He banned himself from this forum (he got a little too addicted and had to get himself to concentrate more on his job.) He might come back eventually, but I don't know.
