I presently work for uhaul and he is exactly right. They do make it, its in the system, and if anyone wants i can go in and pull up a price quote for you..I'll try and do it tomorrow or something and i'll scan and post it.
We actually have gotten a lot of wierd little sportscars to put hitches on. Mostly s2000 and corvettes who wanna tow little trailers with a set of tires and a few tools to an autocross. One of the other kids who works there has a 944 and is gonna put a hitch on his. The nice thing about the the Uhaul hitches is that 99.99% of the time they don't touch the frame of the car they simply bolt in.
However, when (If) you call to make an apointment to do this, make sure the person you talk to on the phone asks you a big long list of question (make, model, year, body style, transmission, options) because the hitches do vary. We ran into this sunday because my idiot, alcoholic, illiterate, boss ordered the wrong hitch (chevy cargo van not chevy passanger van)
