I have been trying to get my car running how I want it to. It runs fairly well but I have some issues. Maybe some of you turbo folk have some good diagnostic skills.

I am running the IAP kit right now which has the GReddy Type-RS BOV. When I'm driving my car, I can't quite get the BOV to work like I want it to. As i'm driving and shift at a lower RPM but get into boost a lil...i get compressor surge "Flutter". When I try to bring it into the higher Psi range, right at 7psi I get a loud PSHHHH like air is rushing out when I'm still on the gas. My Tial Wastegate has a 7psi spring in it so I'm thinking maybe this is the wastegate? Also when this air starts coming out..I lose all my power. It stops pulling as hard as it was from 3k to 4k.

I am not running any fuel controller right now nor do I know my fuel/air ratios.

I have a plx-300 wideband that I haven't installed yet. I'm going to hook that up to maybe get a better idea why this is happening.

What do you guys think?? Ran into this problem before?

7 psi with no fuel management? You are asking for disaster. Install your SAFC and WB 02 now. After you can see what is going on with things inside the combustion chamber then worry about how your BOV is working.

Yes there is an adjustment screw for the BOV and It's I put it all the way loose..and all the way tight with no noticable changes. I'm getting vacuum from a line that is leading to the intake manifold. I vacuum tested it and I'm receiving 15Hg of vac.

Yes thats right.

I figured it's a pretty low psi and I'm pretty sure I'm getting a good amount of fuel, if anything I'm running rich. The Hi-Flow 255lh pump is pumping more fuel.

But then again, it only makes sense to intall the parts I already have huh? I was thinking maybe someone has ran into this problem or knew what it was. Next up I'm going to do the wideband.

Any other susgestions?

If you have done any serious pulls to 7 psi I would be willing to bet you have already done serious damage to your ring lands. There is no way you were not detonating unless you pulled major timing, were using C16 gas or you are the son of god.

If you didn't destroy them yet, slow down and don't get boost happy install the right components (which it sounds like you have) and tune that beast. good luck we are all here for help if you need it.
