Anybody from Nashville Area?

I went to Nashville, TN this weekend on a business trip. I may be moving operations there in the next few months, but I was terrified at the lack of import scene...

I'm really hoping that there are more souped up imports than the 2-3 I saw the whole weekend..

I was excited about maybe meeting some fellow 240SX people, or hanging out with the locals...

But, I couldn't find a soul....

If you do move out to Nashville, you should come out to Knoxville sometime. There are a couple of us out that way

Me and a couple other guys are up in Bowling Green (~55 miles north). There's a quarter mile track up here (Beech Bend) and quite a few domestic events, but not too many imports.

Not sure about Nashville, but it couldn't be that bad...it's a pretty big city.

There is supposed to be a pretty huge scene in nashville from what I am told.....I have talked to a few Nissan guys down there, some of them that have close ties with "The Z Barn" down there....I dunno, never been down there personally to check it out.

I am from Nashville. I just got into the 240 scene. AS in I pick the car this weekend. So I am looking foward to that. My Roomate was a huge factor in the 240 scene here from what I heard. Its not to bad. I will pass the word around. i see a 240 about everyday. (not my own)

yeah..im out by nashville..(gallatin/hendersonville area)...and i see anywhere from 1-5 of the usuals and bout twice a week i see one turbod or sr powerd...i just rolled up on a flat black one a few nites ago and thought itd be a race till i heard his psshht!!..lol..he was cool tho..i was b/s ing w/him for a few..also..theres alot f hondas with exhausts n stuff to eat up w/ my near stock 240..lol very fun

oh and i got a boy rom new york tht just moved in w/ a 94 gsx eclipse...i thought thatd b a race too lol. but thats m homie now...and a damn good mechanic..oh and 1 more thing to make you wanna come to n-ville is the performance garage...john is falking awesome ..andhes got a dyno..mwh ha ha

I am right outside Nashville, my car isn't turbo, but I have been on the 240 scene for a while. I have suspension and what not. Also our autocross club is awsome. We run out at the Super speedways parking lot. It's a big lot.

derf its in smyrna...like ryte down the street from that nissan assembly line or warehouse or whatever it is...and if u didnt know about it ...sont even try getting a job there b/c i heard the waiting list was like two years or suttin

I usually show up in Nashville about every weekend, and there is supposed to be meets on Fri. nights around 11 but lately they have been pretty lame or no one shows up. It is mainly a car meet put together by honda-tech, but everyone shows up. And you are right, the import scene in Nashville is at a minimal.

Im going to NADC and there are quite a few 240s around here, and I,ve seen a few REALLY clean ones at the meet in downtown every weekend! The meet is on the corner of 8th and Commerce!

Used to live in Nashville...Import scene when I was there 2 years ago was alright. I'm down near Clarksville, TN now...the scene down here isn't bad.

Underground, there are some big meets that go on in Louisville, KY all through the summer months. About 75-100 people come out for those meets, domestic & imports! Drop me a line sometime man.

Im in nashville with a 92 Hatch with siliva frnt end and blacktop. There are a lot of civics and integra's. I dont see many imports either besides the usual people you see on a daily basis. There are a few supra's, ferarris, lambo's, rx-7. Its alright i guess.

i got a dry carport, but that aint crap when the mercury drops.

i need to replace the thermostat. i have a crappy generic one now, have a factory part ready to go in.
