Has any body ever used Energy Suspension? i was at Autozone, pricing motor mounts and upper links. suposidely they have some universil stuff for both. motor mount were like 25 for 1 and 35 for the other. i cant remember the price for the upper links. otherwise they have a bolt on 4 around 100 bucks a piece. i would like to save all the money i can. counting my pennies. im trying to be able to paint the car right when it goes back on the road. insted of a shinny red car and a &*#$ color fender and bumper. thanks for any help

Only two upper llinks. Doubt if Autozone or anyone else carries an OEM version. SPL and few others make good after market ones that are adjustable if not as quiet.

There are some posts about Energy Suspension bushings replacing some on the Q45 usning Z32 components (Mark86T), but I would start by reading Q45tech's posts on that subject first.

about the only bushings worth using poly on is the sway bar.. MAYBE the tension rods.

The eurethane motor mounts are much stiffer than stock rubber, last much longer and transfer torque better. The downside is you will lose the smoothness since rubber absorbs way more shock. They are good for the price, though. I personally prefer straight metal mounts, and those are real cheap to make.
