This guy I know through a friend works at a DHL distribution center and I guess another of the employees ran into the rear roof with a forklift and just made a whole mess of damage to the roof. So, he is trying to sell it and I'm curious what your guy's thoughts are on a MAX convertible.

BTW its a 4th gen.

Would certainly be interesting. If done well it could be neat.

I'm not a huge fan of 4-door convertibles, though. There's a lot of roof to be folding and hiding.

theres a guy near me that has a convertible altima. looks pretty ghey if you ask me. clever, but ghey. BTW, my boy was at a gas station the other day and gives me a call. he's like "dude, what car has an infinti badge on the front hood where theres no grill?" early 90's q45. his response to that, " yeah, well, not anymore, someone made it into an el camino look alike."

That's what I meant guys!!! HAHA Chopped roof...no top...that would look terrible. BTW....I hate convertible tops unless is a hard-top convertible.

So what I'm really saying here is what do you think of a chopped max?

That A34 actually looks really good. Excellent workmanship and it is very clean. They even did a good job of transitioning from the door windows to the rear decklid height without making it look strange. It does do away with a lot of what makes the A34 attractive, though. Also, IMO 6th gens look terrible with the trunk de-badged. The Maxima has a big butt. It's a nice looking butt, but it needs the badging to break things up.

I love it when I'm stuck behind a newer SUV or minivan in stop-and-go traffic because they always have a DVD playing and I can keep myself entertained.

For your viewing pleasure.

A convertible I30! HAHAHA. I couldn't find a good sideshot of a 4th gen maxima so I photoshopped my I30.

Lighting is off, so those of you who are photographically inclined. I did it in 5 mins.
