Anybody ever put that ring in the wastegate in backwards?

Well I think I may have put the ring in backwards not sure what it is called. Once my car hits boost the wastegate opens. Was wondering if this was a symptom.

Thats what a WG is supposed to do? You would have an exhaust leak if you put it in backwards.

he means.. as soon as he sees boost, it opens.. ie, 3-4psi..

I took the wastegate apart today and I had a yellow spring. I think it was the big one I am not sure what the little one is suppose to look like. I know that there is a yellow spring for 3psi and there is a big yellow spring for 10psi. I disconnected my boost controller and I still have the same problem. Anyone know where to get new springs at?

I'd sell you mine but it's only like a 5-6psi spring. Just enough to cover shippign so liek $10. Most all of our sponsors carry new springs. Going to run you about $30 after shipping

I checked the links of the sponsor and I didnt find anything. I found the wastegates but no springs.
