Ok here's my issue...not a serious one but I would like to know the cause. When I backed my car out onto the street and put it in drive...the accelerator didn't go down when I pressed it. I had to press it down hard and then it jerked? Could something be wrong with the transmission? The car runs but the jerky accelerator annoys me at times.

Hasn't happened to me but I'll assume you checked all the usual suspects: Accelerator cable, junk near the pedal, junk near hole in the firewall, throttle linkage to the engine, etc. Don't know why the transmission would cause the pedal to stick though...
