I don't think there are any available as of yet. I think racingline just released some for the 02-06 altima and maxima, so maybe in the future they may have some for our cars.

I believe there are universal HFC's that you can possibly modify to use on your car, try looking into that.

since u have the vq, i'll answer this quickly, the vq cats are already 'high flow' and the only difference btwn an aftermarket HFC and yours is prob 2-4hp.

us qr's release a crapload w/ headers because the cat is located in the exhaust manifold.

biggest upgrade for you is that y-pipe, the first catalyst you need the bung for, the 2nd as well, but the 2nd, in the qr and the vq, move down the pipeline, and u wont throw a code. o2 regulation and ur fine.

ud end up spending more for the cats, and then weld on diff ends, only to barely gain any noticable power, if any at all.

hope this helps, but this is broadly my experience with the 6cyl and 4cyl catalysts for nissans atm.

I appreciate all the feedback. Sounds like the y-pipe may be my only other mod exhaust side of things until they come out with a vq headers for a reasonable price. I would go straight but NC kills on emissions man. They continue to get more and more strict. I could have a buddy of mine who works at a shop pass it but the owner wants a extra $100 every year to pass it if it is only through a cel for o2 sensors....so Ill prolly just keep the cats for now. Lol

Test pipes then. Get it inspected and then swap the pipes

If they come out with test pipes or I can get someone to make some then I'd definitely be interested in putting something like that on.

Yes you are correct. But we are talking about test pipes or high flow cats for people that already have the y-pipe. So essentially we are only talking about the 2 cats on the headers themselves.
