anybody ever change a transmission on a j

are there any special tools or advice on doing it

i have done it on my car and didnt need any special tools but if you are doing it without a lift make sure you have it jacked up enough to get the transmission out and the other back in. it was also easier to do it by removing the exhaust and as of the transmission lines be careful not to bend the one that goes to the drivers side too much. also remove the middle joint that bolts to the undercarrage that supports the driveshaft to make it easier to get out of the transmission. i you have anymore questions let me know. may be able to help.
