I have been looking for a intercooler that has endtanks I like and i have found none. Anybody have any experience buying cores and having the endtanks fabricated? Also, does anybody know a good online shop to get IC cores?

I have plans for a super secret totally sweet IC setup :D

Call up Cheapturbo.com I know that when they make their PWR intercoolers, they buy the core and THEN they weld on end tanks. You could probably buy just the core from them. Or you could find out what the US distributors for the PWR/K&J cores are and see if they'd sell you one directly :) Can you tell I'm a little stoked about my new PWR IC? I think it looks to have a fantastic core design...if a bit on the pricey side.

Tube and fin or bar and plate? Either way thanks for the link and info!

Jspec, I think I have an idea what setup you're going for! Humor me here and tell me if I am cold, warm, or hot. Don't worry, I'm not going to come out and say it... here's my guess criteria...

It's a super clever mounting location, neither quite the traditional front or top mount and can be seen on a few cars from Osaka auto messe 2004?

The curved HKS style endtanks would suit it well?

It involves removing some luxury amenitites?

This is a fun little game for me, because I know we are both JDM dorks (without all the bad connotations of the term) and I know you are a mechanical engineering student. i can't wait to see what you're up to!

They're kind of pricey but they are nice. We had one of the GTR ones for a while and it was a sweet core.

Im actually really liking the dimension and endtanks of the XS engineering core. Doesnt look like I can get a decent core any cheaper than about $500 (unless i happen upon a used one)
