well i was supposed to get my nismo mounts in 2 days(ordered them monday) and ups delivers them to the wrong address. Now i have to file a claim.

anybody else have bad luck with UPS?

I HATE UPS. HATE IT WITH A PASSION. this is from my first xanga post... reffered to "xanger" by my friends. this was 12.12.03
today started at 8am. went to school for a 'final checkout.' got to class by 10, only like 8 people of the 40 in the class showed up. got my name called within 5 minutes. waste of time to go to school to pick up a stupid folder.
after i go ups... for the 3rd day in a row. **** ups, they cant even understand "im coming tomorrow to pick up the package, DO NOT SEND BACK." i ordered a gauge cluster for my car from some guy on the other side of the US. mine broke, so i found one, but it was all the way over there. thats fine. $15, but didnt expect 10 for shipping a 4lbs box (CLUSTER IT NOT EVEN 4LBS, MORE LIKE 1 OR 1/2), and 9 for COD. shouldve done paypal damnit. anyway, this is an email i sent to the guy who i was gonna buy it from, it pretty much explains my experience with ups for the past few days.

let me tell you what **** i had to go through the past few days. but first, i did not expect to be paying COD, which IMO sucks ***, shouldve done paypal in the first place. shouldved asked if COD was ok, and not assume that it was going to be at my expence anyway and use COD.
so friday, the shipment comes, but im not home. but they cant leave the package without recieving money. so i have it reshipped to my friends house. monday they come, shes not home, thats ok. so i call them monday, i tell him that i will pick it up tuesday, TUESDAY. i go to ups to pick up, after waiting IMPATIENTLY for 30 minutes, they tell me, theres been a mix up communication, they shipped it out again. i tell them, i want to pick it up from them (which is freaking 20 minutes away from me btw), they say ok, it will be here for sure tomorrow. wednesday, i go by, i wait again... 30 MINUTES... "uhh... for some reason they sent it back to the shipper"... WTF.. i said ill pick it up... "let me check again... oh its been shipped to the other address again" "I SAID ILL PICK IT UP, DONT SEND IT OUT AGAIN" "sorry, we'll make sure it will be here tomorrow" ok good... finally.
TODAY I GO THERE. I WAIT ALMOST AN HOUR FOR SOME ****EN IDIOT TO SEARCH FOR THE PACKAGE. THEY COME BACK, "IT APPEARS THAT WE HAVE SHIPPED IT BACK TO THE SENDER"
AND I HONESTLY DO NOT BELIEVE THIS IS MY FAULT, DO NOT BLAME ME. I TRIED MANY TIMES TO GO AND PICK UP THE PAGKAGE. MANY TIMES OUT OF MY WAY AS WELL. REPEAT: DO NOT BLAME ME.
SO GOOD ****EN GAME UPS!!! so they sent back your ****, i dont want it anymore, im sorry, but i dont want to deal with this anymore. **** UPS, AND SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, (THE $19 FOR SHIPPING/HANDLING/COD) I LOSE TOO BC I CANT REFUND THE MONEY ORDER UNLESS I PAY THEM, SO ITS PRETTY WORTHLESS FOR ME TOO.

after that whole ordeal, i decided to let my frustration out... i yelled **** as loud as i could in the ups parking lot. i think i scared a lady who was walking by. whatevers.

well at least fed ex requires a sig and doesn't just drop it off at the door for everbody to see.
but thats what insurance is for. if they give you crap, move up the food chain. if that doesn't work then mention better business bureau, chanber of commerce, national headquarters and so on. and dont stop til you get satisfaction. giving in only admits defeat.

i've always had luck with UPS and Fedex. USPS is the devil though. can you believe a T04E turbo i bought had fallen out of the box when it ripped open (not exactly a small item), but the wastegate was still in there. then they just taped up the box as if nothing had happened and when i made the claim they acted as if they did nothing wrong or nothing happened and tried to act like the guy i bought it from ripped me off. after tons of *****ing i finally got most of my money back. i will never ever ship larger items with the USPS again unless i have no other choice.
I've always had a good experience with UPS, bad ones with Fedex. There was one particular experience where I ordered a new video card and they ditched it right next to my gate where passer bys could jack it, and then I found out it required a signature, which wasn't given to them. UPS though the driver would always make a pass by later since he always comes by from 9 to 10 am and would pass again around 3pm if I missed him. I guess it depends on the area. I've never had a problem with USPS either except for them being a bit slow at times.
