not a bad price, given the over inflated prices i've been seeing here late for long pieces of metal

see how I was gonna do it, continuing on with the home depot performance line that was on my 1st gen rx7 (fullll straight exhaust made from house plumping pipe) , i was gonna buy a long metal pipe and i was just gonna start welding parts of it in the general vicinity of the suspension towers to create a "studier" chassis.

i have a Pilot strut bar from Pepboys and its great. the only downfall i guess ppl would say is that the tube is hollow, but i dont see how it could possibly bend.

I got it for 50shipped. i really like it and it has definately helped out.

As my good friend Dr. Preece said: "Stiffness is a function of diameter."

Now, all dirtyness aside, he's right. If it's made properly, then you should have no problems with a hollow bar. In fact, hollow is better because it allows you the additional diameter without adding a great deal of weight.

I got mine off ebay for $48 front and back shipped. Not the best but how much technology can you cram in metal bar? Don't answer that.

i've been wanting a decent strut bar, but i haven't been willing to bring myself to buy an expensive JIC or some other bar.

I'm really leaning towards the courtesy one
