Any word on a replacement for those Eibach Pro-kit Springs (Q45, 90-96). Cali customs are very nice, but I live and drive in NYC. I can't have such a low drop. I need something just like those Eibach with (1.0" front and 0.8" rear) drop. Too much pot holes and speed bumps all over the damn place.

Well, read very carefully first to understand how it changes the suspension and what must be donw to compensate. It's all in the mandatory reading of Q45tech's posts.

If you don't find a set (and there are probably a few on the shelf out there) it will have to be a custom solution.

I had the eibachs on my Q and I dont notice any difference as far as the car sitting lower... the rear is about the same, the front just has a tiny bit less fender gap...

I dont think its gonna give you any issues. The eibach springs are gone for good...

I've searched the Infiniti online Mechanic forum for the following:

SpringsLowering springsEibachCal Custom

All searches returned zero results. This wonderful search is at the least - frustrating.

You have to select Post Bodies, or you're restricted to only those threads with your search terms in the title. I found 6 threads for "springs".

Not that I know of, seems someone was talking about having some custom made, but I haven't heard any more on that topic.

Used the same words (dropped the "s"), and used the in body of posts option and got several results. I also searched both Infiniti Online Mechanic and the Infiniti Q45 sub-forums ... as seperate searches.

Jesda has a good tips/tutorial post somewhere ... took 2 triesd as it was archived .

The person he is referring to is: tarmacsuspension

From what I remember though, he was going to make a copy of the Cali Custom springs, but I might be wrong. The thread is zerothread?id=172108but I think page 3 is the only part that is semi-relavent. It might be worth sending him a msg.

So, the cali springs are lower than the eibachs?I thought the eibachs were a 1.5" drop? What are the cali's?

There has to be someone or company that still have these Eibach or something close to them. Someone on NICO might have ran across them or know of someone that has them... Need some info..
