Any wiring techs out there?

Im trying to wire some courtesy undercarriage LEDs on my 2006 Altima, I only want them to come on when I unlock the car or have my doors open, can anyone please help, thanks!

use the sensors that security systems use to detect if the door is open im sure its not that hard

Use the dome light as your signal, and the undercarriage LEDs will switch on/off whenever the dome light goes on/off.

Splice into the wire that powers the dome light, and run a wire from that to a relay that'll activate the courtesy lights when the dome light turns on.
