I have one of these. Tag F1 Chrono. I got it for free, so I wear it:

Most of the watches I like are outrageous complications that cost five and six figures, and I'll likely never justify owning any of them.

I'd like to pick up an "every day" automatic watch though, maybe a Seamaster, maybe a Ulyssee Nardin San Marco, something like that.

Mad one's b-day and he got's a new watch. It's a limited edition one for Japan.

Carbon case, really comfortable rubber strap, 200 meter water resistant and loaded with tritium tubes so I can see it night without having to recharge luminous paint. :woot:

I dig the purple.

I picked this up at a Ross's when I was on a trip to San Luis Obispo. Regular price is $125. Picked it up for $55. SCORE!

I recently received an older Seiko Navigator Timer -

My old favorite is a Skagen 530 in titanium and carbon fiber, very hard to find.

I'm pretty brand loyal when it comes to watches. That Casio I posted up would be an AMAZING buy for the $50 it costs with a better band, it comes with a crappy plastic strap that doesn't flex well at all. It's the most recent in a long line of Casio G-Shocks and other Casio's I've picked up over the years - I've got an MP3 watch of their's with a whopping 32mb of onboard memory. That'll go on FeeBay in a few years for some colelctor to pick up. I've been happy with the pair of Bulova's I've got but am looking at a Dievas Oceantimer as a new dive watch...then I've got to have a decent vacation to the Caribbean to break it in with. :yesnod

Yummy!

Yes, but don't get the one that has the leather band with an attachment in the center of the edge (don't know how to explain it ... you know the one I mean, I hope) rather than a standard pin attachment ... only Stauer makes bands like it! So if the leather dies from use, you cannot change it out for something else at a local watch repair place. :tisk:

My primary watdh is an old Bulova Caravelle chronograph. All it does is keep time reliably.
My $5 Rolex that I got in Manhattan finally died. I had to toss it. :frown:

Might as well drop this here...

I've been looking for a watch I can slap a brown band on, as there are times I just don't feel like wearing my blacked out Nighthawk. I found this last night. Thoughts?

Watches are so subjective. Tissot makes nice traditional styled watches. IF you like it, and it's genuine, doesn't appear to be a bad deal. To me, unless a nekkid Danica Patrick was attached to it (she's a spokesperson for them) that particular one doesn't grab me.

I picked this on up a few months ago, (mine has a metallic blue face) my first watch. I could never understand why people pay so much for watches, then i started looking at them when my GF was getting her ring cleaned and ended up buying it.

:ohno: decisions decisions. LOL

I would really like the Jack Bauer special posted above (MTM) here pretty soon. Just don't know if I wanna part with the cash for the watch or get my coilovers.
