Hey I thought about the same thing! But that was after the shop already replaced them for me. I should have told them to let me keep them lol.
There’s a video on YouTube I seen where a guy used the cartridge of a Chevy lumina to make a q45 strut.
Anyone have any prediction for when q45 97-01 parts will become completely extinct? Lol. Maybe by 2030?
Then again: there’s places like Cuba that were under embargo and managed to keep cars from the 50s and 60s still running today. And Infiniti will always have parts available. They just need to come down on their prices! $250 for a heater core, why???? It’s not made of stainless steel lol.
