Couldnt get anything to pop up when I tried searching, I'll take my lashings if someone gets a link right off lol.

Quick run down, Locked keys in car at friend's, friend's skitsophrantic brother has slim jim, brother wont listen about being gentle and moves the slim jim back and forth like hes on the Olympic row team...Door wont open from outside but does from inside, 4days later wont open from either side..

So now I'm trying to figure out how I can get the door open to remove the panels and hopfully just reattach/fix what skippy messed up...Does anyone have any tips/tricks on how to go about this??

I'm tired of looking like benson in my own car when a friend rides with me and has to sit in the back

Got some better search's in, So looking like just trie to rip the door panel off w/o creating to much damage is the only way to do it...Guess I'll be needing more then 4 clips lol

Welcome to NICO.

Your door lock linkage is probably loose/broken. Your best chance is to borrow your friends Slim Jim and try to unlock it. If that one doesn't work, it would be next to impossible to remove the door trim without breaking it. You may have to cut a small hole to access the linkage to the door lock. Refer to page BF-11 of the 95 Maxima FSM for illustration.

Not new to here really, forgot why now, but couldn't get my old log in to work so had to make a new one...but still a noob none the less

Thanks man, that link will be a huge help, printing the whole thing out right now to have on hand. I started messing with it last week, and as I pulled the panel back I heard "ting, ting"....That was the sound of the rod's connecting the handles to the latch falling...So the slimjim wont be needed anymore lol.

That guide hopefully is going to show me how to finger bang the latch/lock so i can get the damn door open finally and fix it.

The plus part to this happing is I'v saved a lot on gas the past 2 week's! Break your passenger door and people will stop calling for rides
