thats to be expected, sadly that wasn't the case. maybe the day when cars drive themselves instead of people driving them. to bad so many people are so willing to hoop into one of these fast cars and expect to be fast instead of learning how to drive with slower cars first.
Sadly it wasn't the case? What are you talking about, did you read my post? I said the Evo drivers were probably crappy.

FX-16 GT-S FTW! I love those things. I haven't seen one in yeaaars.

There's someone in a neighborhood near mine that has a nice red AE92; drives it a lot too. They're awesome. :bigthumb:

ooooo...the damn FX

that's the only Toyota fwd that'd make me consider it over a nice Civic hatch.

if we got the good engines in the Civic hatches over here it'd be a different story, but the FX GT-S saves some of the trouble in needing a swap.

ops lol, i worded it wrong, but yes i know evos are fast cars. i just mean from my experiance most the guys with "fast" cars can't drive them as fast as what the car was designed for (if you own a fast car and could drive it fast then good, you made use of it). most these guys prob drive way to hard, past the car limits. or drive the car at 6/10 its limit. actually i knew a fella who drove a volkswagon gti for a whole season and got rid of it because it was "slow". however from the outside perspective he was driving the car at 6/10 and took the worst lines possible.

didn't mean to stir anything up just wanted to post a few pics.

btw my buddy had an fx16 too his car and mine were both stripped. his weighed 2290 and mine was 2297.

I'd still want a black/silver top.

so true.

BUT, the FX isn't seen as much....

honestly, when it comes to FWD cars, you go with the H.

the B13 SE-R is about the only one I'd seriously consider for cone slaying that isn't less than 6 years old.

The Spec V isn't bad at all for autocross too. It's a pretty decent G-Stock car.

maybe so...but I don't want to live with one. I'm not a fan of them....I honestly don't think I've seen an EP3 Civic Si doing autox duty...I wanna say it's in there with the damn Cooper S anyway.

I wish we got the Type R here :(

Yeah, it's not very high on my "fun, cheap cars to own list." I'd rather have some quirkier and more dependable ones first. Though I have to admit, as much as I hate the QR25, It can be made to sound a hell of a lot better than the SR or KA. There are a couple B15 SpecVs around here that sound downright nice. I've never heard a KA sound nice. I like the KA but it sounds like a wet fart.

My Corolla sounds like a retarded dog trying to s*** it's own pants, only to realize that it hasn't got any pants, it's a dog...

Actually there's a black EP3 with a roll cage that runs in the Philly SCCA chapter up here.
Not sure how he does as he's not in my class. I should probably talk to him since it's also an oddity to see a fellow autocrosser from DE. Only have seen him at two events this year though. :gotme
