Any tips on reupholstering S13 door panels?

As the title of this thread states, any tips on upholstering the inserts for the s13? There's a bit of stretch in the insterts that I removed to fit into the shape of the elbow-rest like part. Any tips on how to achieve this look without causing too much of a stretched look in those sections?
