Hey everyone, I finally have come around to buying the G35 spoiler from espoiler.com. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for it? Should I take it to a shop to install it or can I drill the holes myself? Your tips are appreciated. Thank You.

I bought mine from spoiler solutions but I'm sure the mounting is the same, 2 on each end and one in the middle. I installed mine myself and took about 30 minutes. Keep in mind if you do do it yourself, you'll be drilling into 2 layers of metal; the top layer and the bottom layer. Make sure you have a stubby uni-bit (that's what she said ) to enlarge the hole (again..that's what she said ) on the bottom layer. You'll need to do this to be able to screw on the nut onto the bolt. You'll also be needing deep well sockets for the install too cause starting the nuts by hand will nearly be impossible. Good Luck! and don't forget, if you do a step by step write-up with pics on the install, you earn a custom title!

I also bought my g35 spoiler from espoiler.com and installing will take some time with the right tools and very important part is centering the spoiler hehe no room for mistake, it's a one shot deal cause once you start drilliling and it's not centered your screwed.. But overall just take your time and bring in an extra person just to spot you..

loving the red AC Lil G!! i'm planning to get an '08 by the summer.

no written description of the install, though . how'd you pinpoint the hole drilling area?? Use some type of tool/measuring device?

i'm a noob at these installs.

The installer is My Brother.. Joe he always measure twice and cut once, when it comes to drilling holes he measures 10x and drill once

regarding about where to drill holes. the installation manual is pretty straight forward. package came with a templete for the holes.
