i just replaced both timing chains(timming chain kit) and clutch.on my 93 ka24de.and it cranks but makes a noise that sounds like the second intake cam lobe is touching the shim.(now keep in mind, this just sounds like that).

so when i drive it . torque is slugish,and any revs over 2 or 3 there is no power.now i can get into all my gears but , it feels like it's breathing through a straw.i ve checked vacum hoses. and played with timing.tried another known good maf.

feels like sluggish to no power and will kinda stumble between high shifts.

if u guys would.... throw things for me to check.i ran diags codes i think it said egr idle and either camshaft sensor or maf.any ides are appreciated.

i think i'm going to pull the motor again.and make sure the bottom chain is on its marks. ive already pulled to check the top chain.(it was perfect)

upperchain was actually off a tooth.which took care of the noise. it still has hesatation.i changing fuel pump sock & filter.
