When I'm not listening to rap/rock, I like to throw on some techno. Anybody else do the same?

Hell yeah! I listen on a daily basis. Lately I've been hooked on Basshunter. I can't get enough of it, especially the song "Plane to Spain." The "chorus" is the freakin tetris music. TETRIS!!!

Good call on the Tim Deluxe classic...love that song. I use the term "electronica" instead of techno. Most of the techno I hear is too fast and generally annoying. Eh, but I'm just getting too old I suppose.

Check out my Pandora Channel - Frequency for some good stuff.

90% of the music i listen to comes from this one site.... mainly because i love mixes... single songs are too lame after hearing this

I say techno in America because no one here cares about the difference.

In Germany I call it what it is, because they for the most part have heard of all the subgenres. The funny thing is in germany r&B and Rap are both considered Black Music, but no one confuses the difference between them here.

I usually start it out round 30sec. but yeah...

Electronica is the best driving music, with good hip-hop a close second. For the purposes of this thread, here are a couple of favorites for late night, high speed cruising with nothing but the glow of the dash and the splash of asphalt in front of you. I'm a huge electronica nerd, but I'll try to limit my eargasming this morning. If you're not familiar with all of the manifold genres, don't miss Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music

Epic only begins to describe this Hybrid track:

Juno Reactor is still the best...

For listening outside of your car, I *highly* recommend Beyerdynamic's DT770 Pro headphones. Best cans you'll ever find.

Cheers.

Yeah dubstep is too slow, its like D&B with out without the beats. I'm down for a quick dub breakdown into a build/another house song.

^You seem to like the more trance and vocal house styles.

I like dirty house at 128.

Seriously drive to this late at night.

Felt like I should post something here since techno makes up %70 of my iPod... One of my favorite bands, and conveniently synced to S13 pictures! Thanks youtube :dblthumb:
