HiWell I'm new here. I've actually been wandering around for awhile but I just now decided to actually register. I own a 1989 240sx which my dad told me to buy but I ended up falling in love with it. lol I'll tell everyone up front that i dont know too much about cars but I'm learning. I'm saving up money to do some work on my car but I'm not too sure exactly what I want to do. Does anyone have any ideas? I posted pics also.I actually want to fix this before I do anything else

Nice dude very clean... Your dad is a very smart guy . Anyway for Ideas no one can tell you what to do other than fix that dent, maintenance and coilovers.

From there on just check out other peoples build and especially the gallery posts and find a couple cars you love combine all the aspects of the one's you like and leave out the mods you don't and make something to be proud of.

Well thats my 2 cents gl

Good thing for you, you have a lot of great places not too far from you that can build and tune the hell out of 240's. UP Garage in University Place being one of them.

No it's not the same UP Garage as the one in Japan. It's U.P. Garage and U.P. stands for University Place. This is their website. http://www.upgarageusa.com/ A lot of people find Doug as being rude, but it's just because he's extremely busy and have a very small staff.

because coilovers are completely necessary in order to drive a 240...

op, very clean piggy. get that car up to prime running conditions before you decide on whether you feel that it is necessary to do any upgrades. it's perfectly fine to rock a stock ride. modding is not for everyone. take your time, research a lot, do things correctly the first time and you will be just fine.
