I have a Zenki S14 that I recently swapped a Kouki S14 SR20DET motor in. I had Yury from HeavyThrottle do the harness for me. After we completed the swap, we are not getting fuel or spark when we turn the key. We manually grounded the pump at the the fuel pump relay and the pump then cuts on but the car still will not start because it has no spark. We assumed then that it was an ECU problem so I tried my ECU (which has a NA code) in my buddies S13 redtop car (which has a 63 ECU code) and my NA ECU cranks his car right up. So we then tried his 63 ECU in my car and still have the same problem with no fuel or spark. We have checked all plugs to make sure they are connected, checked all fuses and relays and cheked the CAS. We have not set the timing on the car yet but that shouldnt matter as far as fuel and spark.

Please help if possible

Make sure that the plugs next to the battery that connect the EFI harness and chassis harness are done up properly. The fuel pump and coil packs all have their power routed through there.

Thats funny...because everyone said that. I really dont know....my buddies S13 has an early 90's model redtop SR in it with the 63 code ECU but my NA ECU plugs right in to his harness and cranks his car..... there is only one other 240 around my area with a S14 SR20DET motor in it but his is out of a JDM Zenki car and has the WC ECU code. The pin out is different and his WC code ECU wont even plug into my car.

Im pretty sure that Yuri would have noticed if I had a S13 Harness when I sent it to him to be converted. He has done hundreds. The reason I know that it is a Kouki S14 is because of the ECU.......NA and NB ECUs are kouki SR motors

the maf plug on a kouki is different than any other s13/s14 sr.. its the same as a s15.. and no s13 and s14 share the same ecu harness...your s14 harness should not hook up to an s13 ecu

Well I dont know then....I just removed the harness and sent it back to Yury so he could check it to see if the problem was in the harness. He should be able to tell by looking at the harness whether it was a s13 or s14. I paid for the service of a s14 harness for a s14 vehicle....it even says it on my invoice. When I bought the motor, the harness was still attached to it and as far as I could tell it didnt look like it had been removed or switched out so I am almost positive that it is the harness that came with the motor and I am more than positive that it will plug into my buddies s13 because I did it and it cranked his car.

I guess that there is always the possibility that someone took the time and switched a s13 harness on my motor and took the s14 harness and then I guess they would have had to switch the stickers on the ECU as well because my ECU definitely has a NA code on it and from what you are saying, this ECU wont plug into a s13 harness but yet it does.

I know it sounds funning but check your 100A fuse under the hood. After I found the insulator washer had came off my alternator and kept giving straight power to the engine block and everything I had noticed that that fuse had blown. My car did the same thing your's is doing now. I have a zenki with S13 SR swap. I hope it helps?!?!?

I wish that was the prob, but I already checked all the fuses and relays. Thanks for the suggestion....
