Just wondering if any body actually accomplished this.

And I know some people got custom je pistons, how much did you guys pay for them?

I was thinking about stuffing in a ca20 crank into a ca18det and getting some custom je pistons that had a pin height higher up so it would all work. Is this possible???:alcoholic

yes, Tomei sells a kit with the crank and pistons or just the pistons.

Car: Big boost and flying are 2 of the 3 things I can't turn down

the CA20 crank uses the same size rod journals, but the flywheel flange is different, so you'd have to somehow adapt a skyline clutch to fit, and the front crank snout is also smaller in diameter so you'd have to weld it up to make it thick enough then re-machine it. Beyond that there isn't enough room to move the wristpin up the 1mm required to get the extra clerance so you'd have to have custom rods made to go with it all.

In the end I decided it wasn't worth it for an extra few cc's (can't bore it as big as a 2.0 because the walls would be too thin to run big boost).
