Any stock KA S13s been to the 1/4 mile track?

I'm thinking the stats for our cars is wrong (91+ 5spd S13), atleast on the websites I've seen. For example, car-stats.com says my car, a 91 240, runs 16.1. I always figured this was right until I had a few races. I beat my friend's 96 Integra GSR with intake from 0-90mph (many times, close races, but I'm still ahead).... he is a good driver, and car-stats.com says 15.5@90mph for his car, stock. More recently I beat a new Civic Si badly with intake and exhaust. My car is stock with 109,000 miles! Not even filter.

Wondering if anyone has some real quarter mile times for our cars? The closest track is quite far from me. Just curious what times other people have pulled.

KAs differ pretty greatly, many people claim 15.5 stock quarter times, and other can't get better than a 16.5 for the life of them. The KA is a funny engine.

how does that hks sound? i am probably going to buy a cat hks hiper and from what ive seen on the boards, everyone likes them, but i was just curious as to how you liked yours. what about your low end torque?

my pritty much stock 91 SE hatch AUTO ran 17.5 ... yeah somthing is fugged.. but i do have 170k+ miles on it...

in my old 91 i ran 15.8 in august of 01, and thats with 200k on the clock, but i had the car down perfectly (shifting wise and such, cuz they have a 'long' clutch) and this was on new tires, but not drag radials or nothing, and she was stock, KA24E, not DE

That 15.5 at 90 would be an extremely healthy KA. Perfect conditions and very well-driven. Car and Driver tested one new at 16.3 back in '91 or '92. Mine did 15.8 at 86 with intake, exhaust and 150k. Granted that was on a muggy night with amp, subs, and big toolbox in the trunk on worn out tires.
