ok, one thing ive noticed since i got my rebuilt kae is that ocassionally the check engine light will come on then turn off. It seems to only happen at certain frwy speeds around 60mph then after a minute or so of ~60+mph it turns off, otherwise it stays on until i get the chance to drive over 60mph. ive pulled the ecu and i dont get any problem reading (code 55). Car runs fine, idle is smooth, no difference is felt between CEL on and off.

i thought my timing was retarded and i advanced it a lil and that seemed to help because it does it less frequently now. I need to accurately check the timing since i dont have that light.

What can be causing this?

hmm... i think i had dis problem before to. wen i checked my ecu for codes it read egr function though. let us knoe if u find out wut it is.
