I already looked through that thread and did a search for both wheels i'm interested in but didn't find pics or info on them. That is the only reason i made this post.ashibah83 wrote:look at the top of this forum.........
its a sticky called the wheel fitment thread.....
cuz this thread= FAIL!!!
18's are a possibility but i'd rather not use a heavier wheel than i need to. I did email Rota about new sizes and offsets for 2009 they have listed on their site but they haven't got back with me yet.
From the Wheel Fitment Database thread...bm3r wrote:http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3244136/2

P45R's aren't offered in 7.5 width. Are you referring to P45F, maybe? P45F's come in 17x7.5 with 4x114.3 offsets in +12, +25 and +45. +12 would be the least lame of the three, IMO.bm3r wrote:I called Rota today looking for "plain silver" and they didnt have any. I want a staggered look in 17x7.5 and 17x9 rears. I do not want any other wheel size combo at all.
I like the staggered look with 7.5 up front. On both of my E36 M3's I had 225/45/17(7.5) and 245/40/17 (8.5) rears. I was also staggered on both of my 911's and my last 04 M3 with LM's. I dont like the way 17x9s all around look.simmode1 wrote:I need to understand two things in order to help:
- Why do you want to run a skinny 7.5 up front?-What tire sizes do you want to be running at each corner?
Wow that is going to look terrible. 7.5inch P45F's don't come in low offsets for 5 lug cars, so if you're on coilovers, those wheels are a no go for you. If you aren't on coils, the offsets aren't gonna matter. Try the 17x8+32.bm3r wrote:

With the P45's I will run 7.5's with 225/45/17 and with the 9's I will run 255/40/17. Thanks
hmmm but wont it look ugly if I run koni/eibach pro kit which is a mild drop? also, i think he rolled his fenders which I really dont want to do.simmode1 wrote:I personally don't advocate the use of spacers. I mean, why not just buy wheels that fit right in the first place? P45R's come in plenty of sizes that will look great on your car. I would just copy Skilz10179's setup and run 235/40 and 255/40.
The reason I don't like the idea of running 7.5 inch wheels is that they will all be high offset and therefore will be sunken into your wheel wells, which looks terrible. Also, it is possible to fit 10 inch wide wheels on the front of an 240 with stock fenders. 7.5 is soooo far beneath the capability of this car.
The wider wheel you have, the more tire you can run and thus the more traction you'll get. Good traction upfront results in better handling. A staggered 235/40 & 255/40 setup will be very nice. It's a nice subtle stretch, not to much & it won't balloon making your wheels look like donuts. Or you can run all the same sizes wheels at each corner so you can rotate your tires.

Anyways, Z33 05+ wheels. 18x8.5+33 with 225/40/18 all around. Spring and strut setup with no spacers.
Fronts
Rears
ok thanks for all the info. The only thing im left with is that Rota doesnt have the finish I want . I called Rota and they said it will take 2 months to get what I want!!! I want plain silver.simmode1 wrote:He rolled his fenders because he has coilovers. You won't be that low, so you won't need to roll.
I have the same springs you're planning on getting. It won't be 4x4, but it won't look near as good as Skillz...
Ill def order them, the only thing that scares me is that the guy said they have to have 30 sets ordered to put the color through.simmode1 wrote:And? Whats the problem? Patience is a virtue, man. Order 'em and chill. From what I've heard, Rota has stellar customer service. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
