contrary to what the internet tells people ecus are VERY hard to fry

whats the problem? you may not need a spare to test with.

i would think u could check with a multi meter maybe resistance or continuatity (spelling)

Thanks for replying. The ecu belongs to a friend. He just wanted me to test the ecu since he didn't get to test it on the clip.
