Guys,

After years of living with horrible lighting from my headlights I took the car to an HID retrofit shop to see if they could debug the issue. The result was a discovery that my Qx4 (which I bought used in 2005) had previously been in a minor front-end collision. The result are headlight assemblies that were poorly re-installed and my shop can't figure out how to re-align them to give me any decent distance on my light / angle. Moreover the motors that all for adjusting the angle of the lights are also broken/not working.

Any idea who I can send these headlight assemblies to for a tune-up/fix?

Thanks!

Probably just easiest to get a set of used lights from a salvage yard or something. Highly doubt anyone "rebuilds" the headlights.

With the extravagant cost to replace these (even second hand) a repair is worth a shot.

HID headlights can be found at junkyards for about $200-300 per light.
