Hello there guys,

I have just acquired a 93 J30 and looking to get my car all prepped up over the Winter. I don't plan on driving it over the winter due to MN snow but would like to get all the maintenance upto per before the next summer.

I was wondering if anybody here knows of any good mechanic or shop which works on infiniti's at resonable price. I am looking to get my timing belt, water pump and related parts changed as well as a tune-up.

Thanks in advance.

Since the engine transmission is the same as a 300zx NA AT a good Nissan Z shop should be acceptable.

Thanks for your replies guys. The J30 is the 2nd Nissan product I have every owned. First one was a Sentra. Unfortunately I have no idea where I can find a good Z car shop in Twin Cities.

Wow another J30 owner in Eagan!! I just got my J30. It has the usual rust in the body welds and some in the rear wheel well. However all the electronics work and it has 123K. Seemed like a nice machine so I nabbed it burrying my desire to own an IS300.

I am looking to get the timing belt, water pump changed along with other stuff it may need.

EricCire: Where do you take your J30 for repair/maintenance?

I just purchased my second J30. It has 293k plus. I have put 2006 M35x rim and tires on it.

I can give you a name and number to call for your repair needs. He has been a nissan mech for over 25 years. His shop at home is better than his day job stall.

Give me an e-mail address to send you his info.

Bugaboo, thanks much for your post. I emailed you at your yahoo address asking for the mechanic's name and address. Thanks a lot for the info in advance. Good luck with your 2nd J30.
