Looking back, now I wish I gotten the NAVI Package, it's $3,000. It's the ONLY package I passed with my 3.5 SE.

No doubt I can get an after-market like Pioneer for much less and more features but I would have to deal with install, things not linking/working.

And, the fact that I suck with directions!

Sometimes I wish I would've shelled out the extra dough for the 3.5, but then I go to the gas station and my regrets suddenly disappear.

I have the 3.5SE w/ prem. package. There are varying opionions on the tech. package... I think positives and negatives to both. Some good things about the tech package is that

1. some car functions are tapped into the nav system. 2. It has a cd changer, and even if you don't use that, and have an ipod, it aslo has the aux jack in the front (like the regular stereo).

We've talked about the +'s of after market systems before, so to speak on some negatives

1.aftermarkets systems will cause you to lose the bluetooth function on the steering wheel2. steering wheel response(volume, track, source) is delayed with aftermarket units which can be a bit annoying.

So all in all, if you want a true luxury package and don't want to deal with the possible hassles of installing an aftermarket system, then obviously the tech package w. prem package is the way to go. Although there's not a lot of them on this forum, I don't think you'll get any complaints from any of them!

me too, i wish i had the extra $ to buy the G. As far as the A/C, I do love it (except the freaking seat rattling. I always have to til the passenger seat forward so it won't rattle. I hate rattling noise when driving so) I'm glad I decided to get the premium pkg. I didn't and still won't care for the Navigation pkg, I can install something later... After the wheels

No NAV, no VDC, and NO REGRETS. I absolutely love this car! It is exactly the way I wanted it and need it to be (of course, minus the RSB, etc).

And of course, I fiended for 1) WHite, 2) 6 spd MT, and 3) 3.5 SE premium package...so I ordered it and impatiently waited. No regrets whatsoever!

Got the baby 2.5 with the convenience package. Nothing too fancy because I knew I would gradually modify everything...

Hope to get myself the Stillen exhaust for Xmas

Got everything on my 3.5SE, even the tech package.

Initially I was regretting getting the tech package because I could get a much better aftermarket navi for cheaper. But after seeing problems people are having integrating their steering wheel controls, I no longer regret it.

Only thing I still debate over is, should I have instead spent the extra $7000 for the G35 coupe? But, I'm happy with my purchase, saving that much cash was worth it.

Now only if my A/C wouldn't have so many rattling issues.

No regrets. I got every option except the wind deflector. The nav works great, and I'm the type of person who will get lost if he deviates 2 blocks from where he's been before, so it's a huge deal. I'm honestly glad I didn't bother trying to do the after-market thing.

I almost didn't get VDC, and I know I would have been regretting that after driving in the snow.

And it's nice to finally have a car that doesn't feel like it could use just a little more power. It always feels like I have just enough. I could have afforded the G37, but I just don't need it, nor would it make any sense in the winter.

I keep hearing comments about the aftermarket Navs vs the tech package, and I think all of them are valid and good points in case folks are scanning the forum, trying to decide whether or not to get the tech package or not. I know there's a thread on that started by MadBlackCoupe, but somewhere it kind of got off subject (as most do)

...in any case if someone doesn't watch videos in their car, then the tech package is the way to go. if they do, then aftermarket is the way to go. The tech package Nav integrates flawlessly with the car. They only thing navigation wise the factory Nav is missing is XM Nav traffic with real time updates, other than that, if I didn't watch movies and videos in the car, and wasn't a mod freak I would've gotten the tech. package.

I do have a question for the folks with the tech package (notaverage, mcheddadi)...When you listen to your xm radio, what does your screen do? Does is show color icons or background picture while it displays the artist, song etc.? Also (unrelated) have any of you gone into the inside of your storage box (where your cd changer sits) I know its a long shot, but thought I would ask.

Factory nav has XM Nav traffic, its ok, nothing special IMO

When I listen to XM Radio, the background is some sort of blue backdrop. I don't think there's a way to change the background.

is there any way to get a heating kit or something installed also? i want to have heated leather seats like the premium package. and also, if it't not too much to ask, can you post more pics of your leather seats? i saw 1 pic but it was dark.

really? i have a 3.5SE with the only upgrade being CVT. i was hoping to get the bluetooth button on the steering wheel later on and get a aftermarket naavi system and have it work with it but i guess that's out of the question now.

oh and my regrets, buying the only 3.5SE on the lot instead of waiting for a silver 3.5SE 6 speed with premium package (they had it at the dealership 2 weeks after i bought my car.... the exact car i wanted)

Sometimes, I wish I had the Blonde leather instead of black, but the only thing I really miss was not getting the tech pkg on my SE. I had the navi on my previous car and like having it.

Haha, yes, you are right, just checked their website... there's only four car companies that have Nav traffic with their factory nav systems, and OF COURSE Nissan is one of them... why would I have ever doubted them?

Wow, that's a lot of regrets. It's like buying a BMW M3 and then saying..."I should've gotten a Hummer." Don't regret and don't look back. Enjoy your 2.5S CVT...it's still a great car.
