You'd have to convince the other nine Y34 owners to get in on the deal. As one, I'll pass.

What's the kit look like?

I might be interested, depending on what the kit looks like.

SHow the link. Im interested if its a sporty kit that is minimal and just adds a touch of style. I wouldnt want any of that tuner crap with mesh gills and all that jazz.

Is this the link you were going to post? Have you contacted them about price? Is it urethan or fiberglass?

Those "CHINA KITS" are prob copies from some JDM company. I dont even think they have a real CEDRIC/GLORIA in China to make a prototype lol. U prob dont want some cheapo knock offs from China. Their kits quality and finish are the biggest concern and the meterials they use as well. A real JDM kit quality is top notch and shouldnt have any fitment problem. U can try contact WALD, INSURANCE, JP, and many other VIP car parts company form Japan. Hope this helps

yeah that was the link, I forgot to post it up. I'd love to have a better JDM kit, but damn are they expensive!

one thing to note about those kits for Y34's. another person on NicoForums installed a kit that looked like the one in the link and had to figure out how to appropriately fill a gap under the grill section since Japanese Y34 have a slightly different front end grill. Also, unless you are willing to install Japanese NISSAN genuine Y34 lights that are different from the US Infiniti light assemblies, there will be a strange gap. What's more, our US grills have a "beak" that is missing on the Japanes Y34's. therefore, the bumper will have an unfilled opening when fitted on our cars.

see this thread for the first authentic Autech Y34 kit fitted in the US... it's a nightmare IMO:zerothread?id=272533

good luck on whatever you all decide.

I wonder if you can just buy the side skirts? It seems like those wouldn't be to tough to install.

Personally, I could care less to see a kit on this car, but if you are going to do it do it right.

I think the M45 Autech body kit looks pretty nice, not too crazy, goes well with the boxy lines of the M45.
