Just wondering if theres anybody thats interested in meeting up with other car enthusiast in the Newark DE , Cecil County MD area. We have been a rather tight group going on 5 years now , and we're always looking for more cats to hang out with , BS about cars , go to events with ect. Im from MD , all the other members are from DE , and we just made some more friends from the Broomall PA area.

Heres the catch.....

We are all between the ages of 24-32. We're not looking to hang out with any 16 year olds(no offence) or people in general that are into drugs , starting trouble , driving dangerously near innocent motorist , drifting near or where we meet without permission , FWD burn outs , and doing stupid ****. We're not interested in hanging out with ricers , street racers , people that "dress" thier cars up all pretty and just stand next to them, or people that are just ignorant. So , if you fit that description dont bother posting.

What we are looking for is outgoing car people that enjoy driving thier cars , drifting , auto x'ing , and dont mind helping other people work on thier car ect. If this sounds good to you , post up or email me at [email protected] , and i'll set up a time and place , or at an event we can meet.

One more very important thing , if your a shady POS , and you see this as an opportunity to get to know people just so you can rip them off later , dont bother. I see shady people a mile away.

It's true you don't want to mess with the clown!

You might also want to add in the bolded portion I put there, that seems to be a highlight around here.

I would like to come and visit one of these day's. No, I don't fit any of the bad, stuff... Just the good stuff.. Ask Dan(DJbutton), I'm a good guy.

Real reason for posting, is that I know a guy, 'BigGameHit' that is stationed down there in MD. Really cool guy that hangs out in the KA-T forum. He's got a few people together that are just as serious as you when it comes to their cars, and the people they hang out with. I do believe they are of the 'older' crowd as well. Hit him up. Or maybe he already hangs with you guys, and this is totally pointless.. lolAIM: BIGgameHIT

Yea , i know Donnie. Your right , he is a good guy , but im not into his scene at all. The whole Midnight Riders deal is a little to corny and ricey for me. I told him my honest opinion on his DVD , and we no longer speak. Wich is fine , i dont belong in his scene , and i dont wanna hang out with anyone that does.

Well, I tried. Didn't know he was 'ricey'.. lol I've only talked to him a few times since I knew he was military, and an avid KA-T guy.I guess I could be considered 'ricey'. I did put some sunk-azz 17"s on my car. lolNah, I'm all 'GO' and no 'Show', that's for sure. I mean business with my car. You can check the thread in my sig, and watch the video too. If you are doing something in the Spring time, maybe Dan or a few of the other 'Northern' guys wouldn't mind driving down. We've made a few trips that involved a few hundred miles. I'm sure another one wouldn't hurt.

Our group is more leaned toward suspesnion tuning and overall balance of our cars etc. Raw hp and what we can run at the 1/4 mile is not really our thing. Impressive #'s in that video nonetheless.

Heck you should come up here for some fun driving some time, we have one of the best places to cruise in the northeast, the white mountains are awesome. Corner carving is where most of us fit in, cept Eric. I'll swing in some time I'm down that way though, I'd love to meet you guys.

Hell no. My car will roll like an SUV...! And that quarter mile run was to see what my car could do since I've not dyno'd it. It's not a drag car for sure. I have video's of my up at STAR Raceway drifting though if you would like me to upload those. I still want to get your springs/shocks when you get coils, Dan.Enough threadjacking. We'll keep in touch, Slappy.

Hey man , yea. When ever you wanna meet up thats cool but Manassas Vais faaaaaaaaaaaaar. I went there for a U.S. Drift event at ODS and i think it was a 2.5 hr drive. But , if you want to make the trip , just shoot me an email.

Do you know any of the lookoutdrift guys? Alot of them are from your area.

Hah thats crazy hearing about people driving nearly three hours to visit ODS, i hear that place from my house man. They hold some pretty crazy drift shows there from time to time, its awesome being local for those kind of events. You find the dumbest kids at drift shows though, its ridiculous.

Probably should have mapquested that, 2.5 hour drive? Yea thats pretty serious. Still though, after i get my car together i could take a drive and chill with you guys for a while. Still gotta get it on the road first lol.

I went with engine parts before i built suspension, i was doing what i know. Iv got a set of JDM tein Ha's that im going to send off to be rebuilt and respeced, but ill probably do a lot of research on what i want before i spend the cash. I dont know much about suspension, but a lot about engines and tuning. Would be cool just to chill and absorb knowledge really.

Ill keep you guys in mind when i get my car 100 percent, meet up with you guys at an event or something.
