Is there anything I should know or avoid before trying to clean my wheels, I have the 19in sport wheels...I know some car washes have strong detergents that will eventually dull the wheels...do I need to be extra cautious with these wheels??? dont want them losing its nice shine..

All you should ever need to clean wheels is a mild detergent, a soft sponge and lots of water. A quick wipe with a sponge will do 10x what anything in a bottle and just a stream of water will. The secret to nice wheels is getting down there with a sponge on a regular basis and keeping them clean. You don't even need a spone really - your finger will loosen the brake dust so it can be washed away.

1. Simple Green works well too. An alternative to a mild detergent.

2. Wax the wheels (I put Zaino on mine! ) after you thoroughly clean them. Then, nothing sticks to them (including brake dust) and a simple hose down gets them perfect again.
