I blew the inlet turbo gasket ( Manifold to Turbo ). I purchasing a greddy elbow, OEM turbo inlet gasket, and Mr. Copper manifold gasket. I'm not to sure if I want to invest in taka lines. The turbo works fine for me so I'm not to sure if I want to upgrade. Since this is my first time removing the turbo I'm not to sure what to expect. I would hate to break or miss something and get stuck without a car.

removing the turbo is quite easy. make sure you take off everything that is connected to it. I gotta take mines off also, oil leak, but yeah its not that hard to take it off.

Its an easy but can be a stressful job. Drain coolant first, then remove the IC piping, Intake Pipe, and Downpipe. Remove the Catch Can. Then unbolt the turbo lines from the block. Probably have to unbolt the oil tube and push it aside. Same goes with the Brake Cylinder to make room. Unbolt the Manifold and pull it off as one big *** heavy assembly. I wouldnt change the lines unless something is wrong with them. Good luck.

take the whole thing off. you don't want to mess with the locking plates while its on the engine.

You can take off the turbo w/out removing any thing. Every time I take my turbo out all i do i unbolt it, drain the coolant and oil lines and shimmy it out. Easy as hell, takes me a few min to get it out.

You dont have to drain the engine oil just unbolt the line. Ps this is a great time to get some SS Lines. Makes jobs like this ALOT easier.

Yea, i was doing the 2871R. Much larger to move around for bottom mount. Kept hitting the Brake Cylinder, Steering Arm, and Oil Tube. T25 isnt nearly this bad.

ok you guys conviced me to get some braided lines. I found a cheaper alternative to taka lines. Circuit sports $119.95

the coolant line that go to the back of the engine looks like a big pain in the butt to get to.
