I recently moved and no longer have to do emissions testing on my car. I already got rid of my cat, but is there anything else i can do to free up some power on my rb20? the shop that installed the motor originally had all emissions stuff hooked up .

well no reason to take out the carbon canister unless you really want to.i took mine out because i needed the space and my manifold doesnt have provisions for it anyways.getting a test pipe is the best way to free up some reindeer, and chances are that stock cat is clogged all to hell.

Exactly, the turbo will make it fairly quiet and add a straight through muffler that looks cool and makes it a little quieter. My cousin has a RB20 motor in his 240 and he has 3 inch from the turbo to the muffler, its not loud enough to attract attention until you get on it and it helps free some horses.

yeah, I already have a 3'' custom downpipe that goes to a hollowed cat whit HKS Hi-Power exhaust. MY car Purrs like a kitten:) I was thinking more along the lines of having the BOV vent to atmosphere, egr block off, etc...... but i dont know how the ecu would react to those type of things.
