i know at least one other guy from wyoming on here but hes never posted. he posts on zilvia every now and then. he owns the only SR swapped 240 in wyoming.

and he finally got the thing tuned right and its now probably the fastest import in cheyenne (take that ricer boys).

The only person with a SR swapped 240? Whoa.. That means.. you could possibly be the 2nd!

i plan on being the 2nd. WeST from Zilvia.net is selling his S13 and i might buy it from him.

the guy that owns the only import shop in town is gonna have an "interesting" sx though;)

he has an 86 S12 that he is in the process of swapping a VG30ET from a Z31 into. thats gonna be one wild ride when its done. he has a thing for older imports with oddball engine swaps.

his daily driver is an older prelude with a JDM B20 swapped into it. pretty torquey for a honda motor. and it actually sounds really nice with the HKS exhaust he has on it (its not the B-series engines as a whole that sound like crap its just the 1.6L ones). cheap swap too. he paid less than 1000 for that engine. would definately make a good base for a turbo motor or a potent all-motor setup with the addition of a VTEC head

you'd hate rawlins. it is hell.

cheyenne isn't too bad. though people from cheyenne usually go down to colorado a lot since it is still pretty boring up here

i am definately interested in a club clash team.

just remember with club clash it is street tires only, mufflers required, and no delay boxes or throttle stops (i think 2-steps are ok). and the car must be registered for street use.

Haha, my parents always went to Cheyenne or Denver whenever anything important like a doctors appointment needed to get done. Apparently there wasnt much in Rawlins at all...but I still wish I lived in Denver, I could still have a big city but also cooler temperatures, its 5:30 pm right now and 92 degrees...ridiculous.

its been in the 50s and rainy for the last 2 weeks here.

and there is a drag strip in denver that gets 2 IDRC events a year and tons of SCCA stuff in this area. everything from autox to club racing to rallys. could do without the cold winters though. and its not that cool in the summers (90s are the norm out here in summer)

I use to live in Rock Springs. Of course that was about 15 years ago. Great country out there. I need to go back out and visit some day.

Just the type of thread I was looking for. I am trying to get a list of CO owners and other owners that are willing to make the drive from WY or NM. I am working on having a 240 meet in late June or early July. It will be in Boulder and will be a meet and greet type event. There is always the possiblilty of taking a drive into the mountains, going to Dave and Busters in Westminster (15 mins away) or heading to a local member's place to watch some video (DVD from 240sx National Convention, Mischief 3000, or the Getaway in Stockholm series). There are about 15 of us in the Denver/Co. Springs area that meet often. So I guarantee there will be some people there. I am also entertaining the idea of inviting some non 240sx owners (ae86s, FD3S, and the like). Just because some of these guys have been 240sx owners, that have moved on, but would still like to do some car talk. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. I can be reached @ [email protected] for any questions/comments.

Thanks,

David J.'89 240sxBroomfield, CO
