I was wondering if there were any other headers made for another car that share the same flange pattern as the VH. I just want some where to start.

I still have the drawings of the header flanges and would be happy to have a set profile cut for you if you pay for shipping too :p

They're tubular headers from the factory, FYI.

I may have a set of spares you could hack up and modify, gimme a couple weeks.

the mustang is close, but the spacing is different...

your easiest bet is to take the oval type long tube headers from a mustang and weld them to the VH flanges....

That's the kind of info I was looking for.

Well im keen. I got coby to do some for me, but they could only do 10mm, also slightly on the piss. Can u do any 12mm (or half inch) steel plate? Some may say this is an overkill, but I probably cant see them once in the car, so would rather make like the factory ones are..nice and thick. Also do u have the 45 templates as well? As i believe the last two are around the other way.

I got my mate at coby to profile cut my flanges from 10mm for me (though they do 12mm plate too) based on a drawing I supplied, which I drew up on the computer after measuring my engine with a vernier. They came out pretty accurate.

He only profile cut the whole flange shapes and the four ports in each one.... no bolt holes, had to drill them manually.

Are the exhaust ports gonna be the same on the 45? If you measure that stuff up for me I can get you a set of plates cut.

Exhaust flange bolt alignments are arranged differently on the VH41DE compared to the VH45DE.

The holes will not be profile cut into the flanges, only the exhaust ports, so if the ports are the same then the flanges will work fine on the VH45DE, you'd just have to drill the holes yourself.
