I've been trying to find out if you can get a rom tune for an obdI s14 ka yet. I know enthalpy has done some for s13s, and secret services was doing this with him for a while too. It seems like a great way to go for tuning if you dont want to try to tweak it yourself without having to deal with JWT's longer wait and conservative low boost timing. Also, I was talkign to movingviolation about turbo setups and he said this is the way to go. He's got a pretty wild CA, SR, and KA under his belt so I'm inclined to believe him. What do you guys think?

I was hoping more for a person who could tune it for me...I don't know enough about tuning to do it myself, plus I would have to figure out the software itself. I'd rather just pay someone to do it.

Wish my car wasn't OBDII. Could a '95 ECU be used with a '96 harness?? It would be really nice to be able to burn my own chips. I've thought about, just never really persued it yet.

From talking to someone who does KA rom burns, I found out that the OBDI s14 (95) uses an OBDII ecu/harness and runs an OBDI program. so, to tune it you have to get an s13 OBDI harness and I'm guessing, ECU. Sounds like a pain for now DOesnt matter though because I have a ways to go before i can actually boost

I'm aware of the JWT setup, but I think it would be nice to be able to get a ROM burn by someone else for the same price or cheaper and also get a better timing map. From what orion has posted, the JWT A/F ratios are pretty good now, up around 12:1 at WOT, but the timing is really conservative, especially at the lower boost that I would probably run daily, so it would be nice to have some more aggressive timing. Just exploring the options
