Any opinons on a 03 CLK55 AMG w/59K miles????

Silver with black leather. 5.5L. Looks to have been taken good care of.
Wife seems to really like it.
Any opinions on how reliable?
How expensive repairs are?

Juat cause its an AMG i'd assume it's some extra cost over the normal high priced maintence of a Benz... i like the way that car looks though.

Thanks!!! I've checked prices on replacement parts for the 03 and they are reasonable, but I think the 05 gets scary. So far, the wife hasn't mentioned it again, so I think I'll just shut up about the car......I really like my 04 coupe and that is what would be traded..

I think a brake job in an AMG 63 is somewhere around $5K for pads and rotors (no labor), so research it before taking the plunge and decide if it's in your budget or not.

thanks, I checked prices for the 03 pads and rotors and no where near $5K so that's not a concern.
Small stuff like brakes I do myself. More concerned with the electrical and drive train repairs as well as service engine light stuff.
Have done some research, just wanted to know if any members had experience.
