any one tried out the painted rotors on ebay?

A painted rotor?? Do you mean drilled/slotted rotors? I don't think you can, well you "can" , but its not safe at all. Another name for the rotor is the disc.. and you don't want that painted..

Do you mean painted calipers? Because that's another thing completely.

yea they are drilled and slotter but alsoe painted in the middle and around

Oh ok..the way it sounded was that even the braking surface was painted too..haha.. I dont really know what to say..I havent tried them so I cant knock them but I wouldnt trust those on my car...They just look a little sketchy to me.. and for only $100? When it comes to things like brakes you really dont want to cheap out.. ha ha or you will really regret it one day when your car wont stop!! I dont know though...

they would look nice...if you could see the hub pick up some caliper paint and paint the outer edge - the visible part when the wheel's on. you'll save a bunch of money on replacing rotors after a week when the ebay chinese crap cracks on you.

yea can do that but i thought it will be easier, i'm too lazy, but yea i'm going to buys some good ones don't want to take that risk

you know that when you buy new rotors they come nice and silver withhout that rust? do you have calipers painted? that's the first thing people look at when they see your nice rims.

yea my calipers are painted, and no my rims look nice from a distance lol close up they look like crap a load of curb rash

i never worry about curb rash. the car likes to be driven hard and it's like little scars from battles

Never seen painted rotors but def wouldn't buy them. I have seen golden rotors that look sic but the price makes me sick

lol @ price make me sick, i'm all good with that i have my dads business credit card so i can spend quite a bit without making him notice it. but where did you see them i searched every where but can't find them, i need rotors and pads soon coz it looks like my rotors are out of shape

I cant seem to find the ones I was talking about but here are some that are reasonabily priced... the ones I saw were $250 each (drilled/slotted)
