I bought the engine with the Emanage so I decided to use it. I went to the dyno yesterday to get it tuned and found that my car goes way lean at 4000 rpm. I tried to richen it up but with no luck. I tried three different mafs and still had the same problem so it has to be the Emanage or the wiring. I tried bypassing the emanage by conecting the input and outputs back to stock and now the car will not rev past 2500rpm connected like I had it on the dyno. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, I am tearing my hair out..

I run an e-manage but don't have problems with it. I also use the map sensor to by-pass the maf when in boost. And if you're bypassing the maf wires completely, then you'd probably need to take the e-manage out all together. I would think that by disconnecting the maf signal, it's still controlling the injectors with no air flow readings. Also, are you running the latest software/firmware version for the emanage?

I am running the up to date software and I only disconnected the maf wires to see what would happen. Now I hooked it back up the way it was before the dyno and the car still wont run right. Could it be my ECU?

The CA MAF is your problem, get a Z32 Maf it will solve your problems.

His original problem was going lean around 4k rpm, with a CA maf, so the original problem still exists and it isn't the maf. Right now, I think it's a wiring issue unless you fried the maf when connecting and disconnecting wires.

So today I checked all my wiring and found that it is all correct. While I was messing with the ecu, I found that when the ecu case touches any part of the inner body the car dies. This makes me think that something is grounding out inside the computer. Would this cause the problem? I am stumped. Tomorrow I will check the fuel pressure regulator to see if it is working properly.
