Just wondering who is out in the bay area such as the 925 415 510 707 or anywhere else close. Maybe someone can recommend a good mechanic on here that works on ka24e. I'm going to do most of the work myself but we'll see what happens! Any help would be cool

well I haven't even got to put 100 miles on my 240. After I replaced the leaking cooling system, it sounds like I have a lifter noise or some kind of issue... I'm thinking about buying a new cylinder head and replaceing it... what do you think?

300dollars...

it may be worth it...

but u can spend almost the same amount by just rebuilding ur whole engine...

about good mechanics that can work on ka's...

$300 huh? I have seen the complete cylinder head for around $700. Thats why maybe takin the lifters out and replaceing them or cleaning them up might be a better choice. Either way, I don't want the problem comming back, so a rebuild seems the way to go right? Lol I'll hit you up about the mechanic too cause I gots a few questions! Thank u!

hmmmm never herd of Rebello Raci in this town and I'm pretty familiar with the business's around here cause I print and design a lot of things for them, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was a good one! I'll look them up thank you! I might just do everything myself, but I don't know if for sure that my lifters are making the noise

Rebello use to be in Martinez California off of Pacheco AVE, about 4 years ago. From what I know the shop in Antioch is twice the size.http://www.rebelloracing.com/

Wow, I didn't know that and wilbur is only about 5 mins away from me so I might check it out. I'm still looking for a factory service manual other then the bootycd one that is going around. I just might be able to save some labor and do it myself! I will check into this place and see how they are etc! Thanks for the tips!
